Would be awesome if FireFox would install it by default, but it would mean people would have to agree that firefox sends data about the sites they visit to alexa, and some people might not want to do that, and it would make the installation process longer, which mozilla might not want. Because I think installing it in the background without noone knowing would be against some kind of law.

But otherwise, it would be gold if they could do this with both FireFox and IE. Counting with small numbers, after like one year (when most ppl updated their software etc.) alexa would recieve stats from about 70% of the internet users, which would be much much much more accurate than it is today.
