.asia sunrise started!

I got a mail from EuroDNS yesterday and sunrise period for .asia domains started!

Ok, we will be able to reg .asia when the landrush is starting.. but there is a bad thing here:

Landrush

Landrush is conducted after the closure of SR2 and SR3. Landrush will not be FCFS; Instead, all applications received within Landrush will be considered to be received at the same time. At the close of Landrush, domains with only one successfully submitted application will be allocated to the Applicant. For domains with more than one successfully submitted application, auctions will be conducted between all Applicants for that domain.

So all the good names will turn into an auction.. will be high prices to buy

We will wait and see but there are a lot of users in the eu.

.eu is a total flop.. i see very nice travel sites popping up out of .asia domains
