Which extension do you think will be the next big one and do you think it will ever catch on like the .com extension did.

I think the next big one will either be .in and .asia.
This is my personal opinion though...

I don't know if any extension can match up with .com

probably not,

but a popular will be .in for sure in a couple of years! lot of domains already registered and there are sales in sedo and other domain selling sites!

dot IN will be big because you can make sites such as get.linked.in. The dot US domains do this as well by making words that end in US with three sylables.

Anything that can work as an ending sylable in a three sylable word will do well. I think Libya is dot LY but they don't let anyone buy their domain names.

I think .in will be the next "big" thing. It has already seen some pretty big sales since its opening to the public. Also all LLL.in have been sold out for a couple days now and these names are already selling for $50+ in some cases. I would not be surprised to see a big coming of .in in the next year or 2. With that said .com is still KING!
