iPhone.com sells for seven figures !!!

The domain iPhone.com was sold to Apple for more than seven figures.. The exact price is not known... at least.. I could not find it.

According to a report on CNBC the owner of iPhone.com had the name since 1995 and he decided to sell the domain in the last days before the release of the iPhone. He sold it to the # 1 enduser, thats for sure.

This domain is worth more than 1 million in my opinion, what do you think of this price ??? I will update the thread once I know the real price.

Well indeed the person was a lucky man. I mean how could one could think of such a domain name about 14 years back. But still i agree with you that he could have easily got about a million dollars for it.
