Paid To Post

Well i got a idea for a forum but obviously a forum is not a forum with out active members.

I just want to know if its worth investing 50$ or something into paid posting does it realy work when starting off a new forum, anyone own a site and used this method before and is it actuly worth it in the long run etc

Thanks

Ross

I wouldn't spend that much.

I would spend about $10 - $20 on paid posting

Ah.

Well yeah its worth it.

No one will join an empty forum and so paid posting is always good to start it off.

I think it's well worth it, I think 50 is a pretty nice amount. I think it would be really be worth it, if it would give you a good 20 members and up to 500-1k posts. Then people will start joining as you are a new and growing community. Although I think this would cost quite more than 50$. As luke mentioned no one will join if there isn't anything going on...

It's alright to start it, but don't expect immediate results.

I would go for it. At least you will start your forum off with some content, just be careful about what company you decide to go with. Look up reviews online, and I would start with a small package just to ensure that you like their work. Maybe try out a couple different services before you purchase a big package.

I am not sure whether it is worth to invest, but it is based on you, there are so many forum owner will pay more than $600 for posting, but I am not sure whether they can gain profit or not.
