Do you post articles to promote your sites and increase backlinks?
Just wanting to know how many of you guys post articles to get back links and promote your site.
If you do, what sites do you post your articles to? I'm almost finished scripting a site which I initially intended to be a site where people can post their articles, or find interesting ones to read or use in email newsletters and things like that. The script can easily be adapted to be a site where people can post tutorials instead of articles. But at the moment I can only afford to market one site (either an article site or a tutorial site). I'm not sure whether to start with the article site or the tutorial site. Which way do you think I should go? I'm looking for 1 or 2 people to post some articles and tell me if they run into any problems along the way ,or any suggestions they might have. If you're interested in being the first person to post articles to my site, please send me a private message and I'll send you the URL. Yes, my assistant does that for me.
But basically, it is not solely for backlinks or traffic, most people do that for branding and creating a credible online presence. Best of luck on your project!
