Dollars? Euros? Changing?

Hi,

Some users have said about Euros will take over from the dollar.

Who is going to change their currency to the Euro to get it started?

As Dollar is the main online currency for online businesses then more users prefer using it.

Do you think you would loose business because if it or do you think its worth changing to Euro?

Atleast people could start by accepting both EURO and USD.

Yeah but wouldn't that be a bit hard due to the exchange rate?

A lot of users use software which can only take one currency.

I would love seeing big marketplaces like SitePoint changing into Euro !! I think it will not happen any time soon though

I bet if Sitepoint or DigitalPoint changed it then most users would follow.

I'm seriously considering switching my auctions to euros. It's becoming a more serious problem than people think. Business IS affected because of this. People in other countries are making less because of the dollar, and we are losing buying power from others in countries (i'm talking about domains, php scripts, etc.). There's an imbalance online right now, but not many realize it. If I lived in Europe making money in Euros, I'd be buying domains like crazy right now.

Yes but the problem is not enough people will start doing it.

I personally might start selling in Euros as I am loosing money but I do not think many others will join in for a long time.

I don't think the americans would want the market to change into euros, and afterall the americans is in majority at the web.
