Were should I buy domain and hosting for a blog?

I would like to asked if were I can buy domain or hosting since I wanted to have blogs with paid hosting. I wanted good hosting but not so high payment for it. Anyway I got blogs in blogger so I wanted to start something new this year.

I would go for host gator if you're not needing a huge amount of bandwidth as they have live chat support which is very useful.

Wordpress is really good.
I am using it for my new blog (See top sig link)
