Google got potential for rank 1

Hello there!
I just found something out. If you enter google.se (.se is the swedish domain) you end up at google.se. If you enter yahoo.se, you end up at se.yahoo.com. I bet it is the same for all countries, and google.se got its own ranking, but se.yahoo.com share ranking with yahoo.com. Wouldn't it be much smarter of Google to just redirect to xx.google.com instead of letting the visitors stay on different domains?

This would definately make google reach rank 1 on alexa, by far!

I think its better buying the domains and just using them

They sure will be # 1 if they do that! But this way is way better imo!

google.nl is nicer then nl.google.com !! cmon, don't they respect countries

True, but atleast then you could say Yahoo! ain't the biggest website, Google is. Since they got the potential, but as you say ordinary domains feels pretty good
