Best 3D Software?
I personally use 3ds max but is there anything better?

You can also try and see Maya just for testing I personally find also 3D studio max the best.

First off Newtek makes LightWave now in ver.7.
LightWave, Maya, and 3DS max are all top of the line 3d packages put you also pay for them. Maya has a personal learning edition that is free but everything is water marked. Bryce is not widly used in the professional 3d world. Its not quite as powerful as the others.
LightWave, Maya, and 3DS max are the best that i know of.3d software is finding great use in different sections and fields. 3D software essentially finds great use in the world of graphics.

imho.. .3ds max is the user-friendly.. .maya is complicated and i havent used pixar.. .

According to my opinion, Maya is the best 3D software. It is really a very good software for the 3D Purpose.
