Hi,

How can we generate traffic to our ebay store, without paying a lot of money.
In addition, how do we conceal the affiliate link in our emails. I have msn. I know about tiny url, but I was thinking more of my banner or signature with the affiliate link in it.

I think the best way is to post in a forum, and talk to people you know about your server/items.

I don't think paid advertising will help that much for ebay stores.

you can use your signature to gain traffic as well as PR.

To conceal the link you could use the hyperlink so that it shows www.affiliatesite.com but goes to www.affiliatesite.com/yourlink

Build links and you will see results after a period of time (1-2 months or earlier)

Links are very important and you should not overlook it. The better option would be to post in forums with signatures as this would not only get you more traffic but also increase you PR. Just a win-win situation.

paid advertising can help but not in all the cases. I agree with Doskono that post in the forums and let people know about your offer and services. Unless people know about you how would they use your services.

Let people know you and your services and blogs and forums are the best places for it. You signatures to get reliable long term traffic to your site. More the people will know you more will be the traffic.

Exactly the more people will know you the more will be your traffic, you can also send articles to ezine publishers with a link back to your website

Link building is just another way of bringing traffic to your site but when you have to market your site than I think signatures are the best way since you get the chance to interact with people and tell them about your products and services.
