This is a very general query but it is very important and you people would agree with me!! What are the primarily things you should look in a good hosting site??

What things you should take care of when you have decided host for your site???

Respected - if you google their company name, and see them bad mouthing and trolling people on forums, I really don't think I would be hosting with a company that is represented with workers like that.

Well some hosting does not have things I need. When I check for hosting, I want always latest PHP versions, mysql, phpmyadmin which is normally with most hosting but then go for cron job, RoR...

But I think speed is quite important, as it will affect all your user experience with your website.
