How can I fully test my website without having to pay for webhosting?

I'm not ready to fully purchase webhosting at the moment. But, I want to be able to upload all my website scripting and information to a test website for free. All the information will be uploaded via Dreamweaver CS3, so I need a website that will allow me to sign up for free webhosting where I can test out my website.

There's a myriad of free hosting sites only they may not support php scripting, perl for free though.

I have the same question, how can we download our design without signing-in in a webhost. I want to have my own site to but cannot afford to pay a webhost.

You could just run server software on your computer to replicate having server space but that's a pain installing software but if you do look into wampserver which will install php, apache and mysql.

There are many hosting sites that offering hosting for free.

There are 2 possible solutions:
1. Run your website on local server. You can install xampp if you are using PHP or install IIS if you are using ASP. You can include your local webserver into Dreamweaver.
2. Upload to free hosting like 000webhost, freehostia and many more.

The 1st solution is the best solution because you can edit it directly and after all done then you can upload to your webhosting with ftp.
