I want to why when you are ranked well say for example 3 for some key words but you are ranked down in Yahoo. I do not understand the logic behind it. Can anybody explain it to me.

The search engines are not the same, every engine ranks their sites on a different way!!

Nothing you can do about that. Just build more links and try to get attention of all engines..

Every search engine have their own method of ranking and you ca not help it. If you want to get better rank of your site then you should have unique links in your site, try to update it regularly and put good content on it. This will improve you site rating and hence provide you better traffic.

All search engines have there own criteria but to get the good ranking you should stick to basics. Have unique links and good content and have the search engines attention on you.

Different search engines have different criteria for allotting the Page Rank. But one thing is that if you are having good content and unique links then your site will have good PR.
