Yahoo search engine marketing!!

Yahoo has started Pay per click advertising after acquiring it from Overture. Unlike Google Adsense, not all Publishers are allowed to participate. They follow some restrictions in allowing Publisher accounts. I am now in a queue to get an account. Is there any country restrictions followed by them. I have heard that it is good in perfomance like Adsense. Is it true?

By the way, from which country you are?? Nothing like queue or anything.. They are successfully running beta version for more than couple of years and I think, Yahoo will close that YPN with the beta version itself after some months..

If you residing out of US, I am sure your application will be rejected today or tomorrow..

Yahoo's YPN is still in beta phase and is available only to US residents. If you are not in US then you'll not be accepted. Once its out of its beta phase then more countries will be added.

Non US citizen's applications are being ignored and i think that the reason might be they are under the beta version. But i also wonder why do they still have the beta trial version and have not yet launched the full version. Then they could enlarge the market.

How long they have decided to run it under the beta version? No one knows. Come on yar. Break all the rules and just come out. Am sure they will find a good market here because everything will be new for its customers and they will all be attracted to it.

YPN is in its early phase so it is not allowed in all the countries. Right now it is only for the users of US. I haven't used it and still working in adsense and quite satisfied with it.

According to some major news sites. yahoo is poised to come out or beta in a few more weeks time and to include every publisher everywhere....thats going to be a blow for adsense if yahoo provides a lower payout and better cpc.
